Wills & Trusts

Everyone over the age of 18 should have a Will. Why? Because if you do not have a Will there are many possible consequences. Aside from potentially leaving more stress and anxiety for your loved-ones, not having a Will could result in any children under the age of 18 being taken into care as you will not have been able to appoint a legal guardian.

If you are unmarried, then your partner is not automatically entitled to any of your assets resulting in the potential that a bereaved partner may quickly become homeless. But even if you are married, then your husband or wife is not automatically entitled to inherit your whole estate.

If you have spent many years paying your taxes and amassing some healthy savings and investments as well as building a nice home for you and your family, the Government can still take 40% in tax from the value of your estate over the Inheritance Tax limit.

As full members of the Institute of Professional Willwriters, drafting a Will with us is extremely simple. We echo the Institute's motto of "Professional, Ethical & Competent". From as little as £90.00 per person, our Willwriter will visit you at your convenience (even evenings or weekends) to discuss you individual requirements.
